Tech entrepreneur Hugo Van Yalk (Jason Schwartzman) invites three of his billionaire pals, Randall Garrett (Steve Carell), Venis Parish (Cory Michael Smith) and Jeff Abredazi (Ramy Youssef), to spend time at his snowy retreat in Utah in order to "reconnect" and while this is taking place, Venis' social media platform Traam is spreading so much disinformation that it's causing violent uprisings all over the world ... and then they decide they need to kill off Jeff for his coveted AI software (which is called "Bilter").  Armstrong, in his directorial debut, rightfully earned praise for writing the popular series Succession (as well as one of the best episodes of Black Mirror, "The Entire History of You"), but this is basically a stage play featuring four deeply contemptable characters, and "mocking" wealthy Silicon Valley-types is lazy since they're so rich and socially awkward their very existence is ridiculous by default (sorry Zuck, Jack, SBF and everyone else except Elon).  Jeff is intended to be the "moral" one of the group, but even he's a cretin, and for two hours I kept waiting for their compound to be nailed by an avalanche.
