Riley Brennan (Sarah Durn) and three friends started a YouTube channel back in 2008 called "Paranormal Paranoids" in which they investigated locations in Ohio for ghosts, except Riley went missing and her cohorts wound up dead in a cabin - ever since that happened, Riley's sister Mia (Camille Sullivan) has been searching for her, suspecting her disappearance has something to do with a possessed prisoner named Wilson Miles (Charlie Talbert).  The first third of the movie is made in pseudo-documentary format (although the 'interview' portions seem hopelessly fake) in order to provide context for the audience, but the rest of it is derivative horror, slapped together thoughtlessly from multiple features director Stuckmann presumably saw as a critic (Hereditary, The Blair Witch Project, Lake Mungo, etc.).  For being (partially) funded through donations via Kickstarter, it at least makes an attempt to "look" like a proper feature ... yet the final twenty minutes are pitiful, and I felt terrible for the real-life baby that's covered in what appears to be strawberry jam.
